 Junior Wins Broadway Bound Award

All Saints junior Lexie Rains recently competed in Miami University’s Schmidt Youth Vocal Competition at Baylor University.  The contest, open to 10th – 12th grade vocal students from across the country, is designed to encourage and inspire developing opera and musical theater students.  Out of the 28 competing students (from Texas and out of state), Lexie was awarded the “Broadway Bound” award.  Congratulations Lexie!  Lexie can be heard in the upcoming All Saints production of “Little Women” in the role of Jo March April 24 – 27.

All Saints Fourth Graders Win Ribbons at Fair

Caroline Wells recently won two first place ribbons, one second place ribbon, and one third place ribbon in the East Texas State Fair. Dustyn Rose, also won two first place ribbons and Best in Show for his sunset artwork he created at All Saints.

 

Junior Qualifies for World Chess Championship

Congratulations to junior Jarod Pamatmat who has qualified to play in the 2013 
World Youth Chess Championship in the U16 Open Section.  Jarod will compete as a
member of an elite team of players and coaches who will represent the
United States in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, from December 17 – 29.

 Jarod is one of the top rated players in his age group in the 
United States.

 

Sophomore Competes in Mustang Million Event

Sophomore Tanner Thompson and his mustang, Scout, recently placed 16th out of 66 competitors in the Mustang Million Event.
