•Amount: Varies $500 – $2500

•Eligibility: High school senior; 2.5 GPA minimum; Essay; Three (3) reference letters

Buick Achievers Scholarship

•Amount: Awards over 1,000 scholarships, variable amounts

•Eligibility: High school senior; those who plan to major in a field of study that focuses on engineering, technology, design or business, with an interest in the automotive industry

Cherokee County Electric Cooperative Association

•Amount: Varies

•Eligibility: High school senior who are the children of active members of the Coop

Regions Riding Forward Scholarship

•Amount: Sixteen (16) $5000 scholarships

•Eligibility: High school senior; 500 word essay about an African-American past or present  

TJC Scholarships

•Amount: Full in-district tuition for ASES graduate

•Selection based on: submission online application; counselor verification

Faulconer Scholarship Program

•Amount: $3,500 per year while at TJC; $7,000 per year while attending a four-year college or university in TX

•Eligibility: Graduating senior; 2.5 GPA or higher; African-American or Hispanic student

Texas Bank & Trust

•Amount: $500 to one senior attending ASES,  JT, REL, Grace, Gorman

•Selection based on: High school senior; SAT/ACT scores; GPA; Financial need; Extracurricular activities; Work activities

Cooperative Teachers Credit Union Scholarship Program

•Amount: Four (4) $2500 

•Eligibility: Top 10% of seniors; Minimum 3.0 GPA; Completed application with essay

Junior League of Tyler: Beverly Beaird Young Woman Leadership Scholarship

•Amount: $3500 to an outstanding female volunteer

•Selection based on: Essay; Counselor recommendation; Two letters of reference

2nd Annual Peltier Faculty Scholarship Program

•Amount: Forty (40) of $1000 each

•Eligibility: Applicant must be the child of a faculty member employed in an Independent School District for the 2013-2014 school year

2013 Texas Trial Lawyer Association Scholarship

•Amount: $1000

•Eligibility: 2013 TTLA Application; Two letters of recommendation from counselor or teachers; Essay: Why the jury is the cornerstone of the civil justice system; Résumé

Lauren Lewis Memorial Scholarship

•Amount: $1000; two scholarships awarded; one to an ASES graduate and one to a REL graduate

•Eligibility: Graduating senior from ASES or REL; applicant must plan to enroll and remain enrolled at Texas A&M University; applicant must show service & leadership qualities, completed application

All Saints Alpha Omega Scholarship

•Amount: $1000

•Eligibility: For one All Saints senior who attended ASES from 1st grade through 12th grade, essay, expanded resume

All Saints Parent Association Community Service Scholarship

•Amount: $1000

•Eligibility: For one All Saints senior who has completed 100 or more community service hours in one year, community service resume, essay

[ESSAY PROMPT: You can address one or all of the points below:  How has your life changed because of your service to the community?  What are your plans for service in the future?  What is your greatest impact?  Given any amount of money, planning, and foresight, what would you do for the community?  Alternatively, you can write on a topic of your choice.  The scholarship committee will leave format and length for the student to determine.]

•Amount: One (1) $3000 scholarship; Two (2) $1000

•Eligibility: For seniors who will attend a Texas college or university next year, application, essay

Tyler-Smith County Texas A&M Club Scholarship 

•Amount varies: $500 to $2500

•Eligibility: Graduating senior who will attend Texas A&M University; completed application with short answer essay

TAALP Scholarship 

 •Amount varies: Three (3) $500 

 •Eligibility: Graduating senior; 3.0 minimum GPA; intend to enroll in a field relating to the legal profession

•Eligibility: High school junior, participation in extracurricular activities and community service projects, completed application
